India vs Australia: India defeated Australia in the 4th and final Test match at The Gabba, Brisbane to retain the Border-Gavaskar trophy after clinching the Test series 2-1 on Tuesday. Soon after the victory, Indian cricket fans, ardent cricket lovers and cricket admirers all over the globe have been talking about India's win.

It is never easy to win an away Test match, let alone series, and with hostile pitch conditions of Australia, it becomes difficult for any visiting team to adapt quickly and register a win. Taken that into account, the Indian team had as many as 10 players injured throughout the series and even the regular skipper Virat Kohli left after the first Test match to witness the birth of his first child.

Also, the start to the Test series was with a humiliating defeat for India in Adelaide. Team India was only able to manage 36 runs, their lowest total, in second innings as the hosts crushed them to an 8-wicket win. It was followed by a strong comeback at Melbourne Cricket Ground as stand-in skipper Ajnikya Rahane struck a valiant century in the first innings which resulted in India's 8-wicket win.

Battle moved to Sydney where India survived and managed to play out a draw backed by Hanuma Vihari and Ravichandran Ashwin's elongated batting effort on the final day. The final showdown was slated to happen at "Fortress" aka "The Gabbabattoir" or The Gabba where Australia was undefeated for 32 years. Given the scenarios, it was emphatic last day heroics by the Indian team as they chased down the target of 328 runs to bag the series in dying moments of the match.

With celebrations all around, internet search-engine Google also played its part. In a tweet, Google India let a surprise for its users as you type in "India National Cricket Team" in the search bar.
