India will be locking horns with Australia in the first of the 3-match ODI series at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai in a short while from now. The Indians would be up against the formidable opposition which had beaten them in the last bilateral engagement between the two powerhouses on Indian soil.

Both the teams had a successful run in ODIs with them making it to the semi finals in the World Cup. Out of the 3 ODIs played between the two sides at the Wankhede, Australia have won  2, while the home team came out triumphant in one of the matches.

Aaron Finch won the toss and elected to bowl first at the Wankhede in Mumbai. Test specialists Marnus Labuschagne will be making his one day international debut. Australia has gone in with two spinners with Zampa and  Ashton Agar in the playing eleven.

Virat Kohli:  It is a good challenge for us. Pretty happy to be batting first. We are pretty happy with the toss. At home, I don't think anyone else challenged so much. They won last time. Quality sides will challenge you everywhere. We are very excited.

Aaron Finch: We are gonna bowl first. Hopefully, there will be some dew later. The feeling is very good. Lot of guys have been playing Tests and BBL. The guys are pretty confident. I think the guys that have come in, have done well. We are going with two spinners.
