New Delhi: Indian cricket team's young speedster Navdeep Saini emerged as the star performer in his international debut match against the West Indies. The young speedster on Thursday took to Twitter to share pictures of his ODI debut in the third game of the series in Cuttack's Barbati stadium.

In his debut game, Saini impressed everyone by departing two main Windies batters and also registered the best figures among other Indian bowlers. The paceman first dismissed opener Evin Lewis in the 15th over to give team India its first breakthrough and in 32nd over, he bowled a 'perfect yorker' to take the wicket of Roston Chase.


The right-arm seamer bowled a dream spell of 3-0-10-2 to make his mark. The match was won by team India as the 'Men in Blue' successfully chased down the 315-run target with 1.2 overs remaining and four wickets to spare.

Saini also shined in his debut game for India also got his name in the record books as he became only the second bowler to record a wicket-maiden in the 20th over of a T20 international match. His magical spell helped India script a win over Windies in the opening T20 with three wickets in his kitty.
