As the ongoing World Cup 2023 is about to reach the business end, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is ready to put out a final set of tickets which will go for online sale on Thursday, November 9. The BCCI issued an official statement where they explained how fans can buy tickets for the matches that are set to take place next week in the form of the semi-finals in Mumbai and Kolkata, followed by the final in Ahmedabad.


“As the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 reaches its business end, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will release a final batch of tickets on Thursday,” the BCCI release read.


“The tickets for the three marquee games – 1st semi-final (15th November), 2nd semi-final (16th November), and the all-important final on 19th November will go live at 8:00 PM on 9th November on the official ticketing website at https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com.


“This will be the last chance for cricket fans wanting to experience the magic and thrill of the World Cup and to witness in person the crowning of a new champion,” it added.


Teams like India, South Africa and Australia have already sealed their spots for the semi-finals while Pakistan, New Zealand and Afghanistan are still battling for the final spot. The Blackcaps have currently scored 8 points and will be playing against Sri Lanka in a must-win clash. They are tying with teams like Pakistan and Afghanistan but are at the fourth spot, citing their superior Net Run Rate (NRR) of +0.398.


Pakistan are standing next in line as they are in the fifth spot on the points table with an NRR of +0.036, however, the Men in Green are ahead of Afghanistan who have a -0.338 NRR.


After Afghanistan, England is there who are officially out of the race of semis but they can still end their campaign in the top seven to take part in the Champions Trophy 2025.
