Bumrah, who reached his career-best third ranking in September 2019, took nine wickets in the Nottingham Test match and is now at the ninth position in the latest ICC Test rankings, scaling 10 places.

Indian opener Rohit Sharma and wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant remained at the sixth and seventh positions respectively. But both players have lost points.
