However, a poor run with the bat now sees Babar Azam drop out of Top 10, and Pakistan have dealt a huge blow in ICC Test Ratings in all the three categories (batting; bowling; all-rounders) with Shaheen Shah Afridi too dropping out of Top 10 in bowlers' category. With that, only Mohammad Rizwan is the sole representative of the nation in Tests in the Top 10 list (10th rank in batters).

Coming back to the England Vs Sri Lanka series, Gus Atkinson sees a meteoric rise in the Rankings, as the 26-year-old jumps upto 48 places in the all-rounders category to sit at 17th with 198 Ratings. The English fast bowler created history by becming the third cricketer in the history to record a century and a five-wicket haul in a single Test match at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground.
