Jasprit Bumrah Number 1 Bowler In Tests: Jasprit Bumrah has returned back to the summit of ICC Test Rankings as he is now the new number 1 bowler in the world. The Indian pacer has replaced fellow Indian, Ravichadran Ashwin, at the top of the rankings. Both Jasprit Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin occupy first and second-place respectively.

In batters, Yashasvi Jaiswal has attained his career-best ratings of 792 and is now placed third, behind modern-era Joe Root (899) and Kane Williamson (829). Virat Kohli too, has made a jump in the rankings and is now placed 6th with 724 rating.

Sri Lanka's latest exploits in series victory over New Zealand has helped Kmaindu Mendis rise to 11th with 716 rating and is 2 ratings behind 10th placed Rishabh Pant. Prabath Jayasuriya continues his rise and is now 7th with 801 rating.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz's good form with both bat and ball has now seen him surpass Jason Holder and Axar Patel to 5th in the all-rounders category with a rating of 272.
