IND W vs BAN W Highlights: India and Bangladesh women's cricket teams squared off on Saturday (July 22) at the Sher-e-Bangal stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka. Indian women's cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur's frustration was evident when umpire Tanvir Ahmed gave her LBW out off Nahida Akter's bowling in the 34th over of India's chase. She was so fuming at the decision and reacted with anger by smashing the stumps with her bat before having a heated exchange with the umpire, signalling to him that there was a bat involved. Notably, even if Harmanpreet was right and the ball did hit the bat, the slip fielder did take a catch.

The last-over thriller between India and Bangladesh women ended with scores levelled but no Super Over was bowled and the series ended in a 1-1 tie. In the past-match presser, Harmanpreet did not mince her words and accused the umpires of 'home bias'.

"A lot of learning from this game. Even apart from the cricket, the type of umpiring that was happening there, we were very surprised," Harmanpreet said.

"The next time whenever we are coming to Bangladesh, we'll have to make sure we have to deal with this kind of umpiring and accordingly we'll have to prepare ourselves.

"They batted really well, batted according to the situation. They were taking those singles which were very crucial. In between we leaked a few runs but when we were batting, we controlled the game very well but as I mentioned earlier some pathetic umpiring was done and we are really disappointed about some decisions given by the umpires."
