Mumbai: Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, the star of Indian cricket his celebrating his 48^th birthday on 24 April 2021. Unlike every year, he is not celebrating this birthday due to the pandemic restrictions in place. Recently, Sachin Tendulkar was tested Covid-19 positive. He had to stay quarantined for 21 days. Sachin informed his fans about his health in a video and urged them to donate plasma if they have recovered from Covid-19.

Sachin Tendulkar also released a video on his birthday. In the video, Sachin said that he is thankful to all the doctors and medical staff who helped him recover from Covid-19. Sachin informed that he spent 21 days in quarantine while recovering from Covid-19. He said, “All your birthday wishes have made my day. Last few days have been tough for me, I had to be isolated for 21 days.

“All the doctors and the medical staff kept me in a positive frame of mind and helped me recover. A big thank you to all of you.”

While talking about the current situation of Covid-19 in the country, he said “I want to give you all a message which is passed on by the doctors. If plasma is given at the right time, patients can recover faster. I am also going to donate my plasma whenever permissible.

“You all talk to your doctors and those who have recovered from Covid-19, do donate your blood.”
