England Vs West Indies 1st Test: James Anderson continues to shine in his farewell Test match, as the 41-year old never seems to be getting too old for international cricket. It was a legendary and iconic opening spell from the right-arm fast bowler in the second innings, as he recorded 29 dot balls and a wicket in his first spell, and the ball on which he got the wicket of Kraig Braihwaite was nothing short of a thing of beauty.

Interestingly, Kraig Braithwaite and James Anderson share a long-time rivalry on the field, and it has been the legendary fast bowler who seems to have made the Caribbean batter his bunny, as the current WI skipper was James Anderson's 500th Test international wicket at the very same venue.

It was not just a bowlers' day on Day 2 at Lord's Cricket Ground, as Jamie Smith entertained the crowd in attendance with his smooth hitting, as the English batter struck a 50 off 98 balls on debut and during his 70-run knock, he smashed one ball out of the stadium, which left the crowd in attendance completely stunned.

Ben Stokes Joins An Elite List Of All-Rounders During England Vs West Indies 1st Test

England captain Ben Stokes is indeed a true legend of the sport and has played one of the most iconic matches and produced one of the most iconic moments in the history. Be it Edgbaston 2019, Lord's 2019, Melbourne 2022, the English all-rounder has done it in every format.

With the wicket of Mikyle Louis, the 33-year old joins an elite list of all-rounders. Ben Stokes now becomes only the third all-rounder ever to have scalped 200+ wickets and scored 6000+ runs in Test internationals. The other two all-rounders in the list are arguably not just greatest ones of their era, but also, of all time — Jacques Kallis and Sir Garfield Sobers.
