Australia and England, cricket’s oldest rivals, will face off against each other in a comprehensive white-ball series as Australia tour England for three T20Is and five One Day Internationals. This marks Australia’s first white-ball tour of England since 2020. The ENG vs AUS matches will also be a crucial opportunity for both teams to gear up for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The caravan starts with the first ENG vs AUS T20I in Southampton on September 11.

Australia, coming off a 3-0 T20I series win over Scotland, will enter the series as favourites, but England's home advantage makes them a formidable opponent. The Aussies will be captained by Mitchell Marsh in the T20I as well as the ODIs. England will be without regular captain Jos Buttler for the T20Is, with Phil Salt stepping in as the stand-in captain. Buttler is still recovering from a calf injury and may also miss the ODI matches but the official word regarding that is still awaited.
