Eid Mubarak: Members of the cricket fraternity took to social media to wish their fans and followers a happy Eid ul-Fitr on Thursday (April 11). Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar led the cricket fraternity in wishing everyone on the festival. "True happiness lies not in the 'presents' but in the 'presence' of those who light up our lives. Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating around the world," he wrote.
Several other current and former cricketers even shared glimpses from their Eid celebration.
"Aap sabhi ko Eid ka chand mubarak #Eid," Mohammed Shami, who is continuing his recovery from a surgery, captioned a video featuring himself.
Robin Uthappa, the former India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star and one of the experts in the broadcast team of IPL 2024, also shared wishes on social media. "My heartfelt wishes on this blessed occasion of Eid ul-Fitr. May your homes be filled with joy and laughter today and always. Eid Mubarak," he wrote while sharing family pictures on social media.
Ex-India all-rounder Irfan Pathan shared a picture of himself with his elder brother Yusuf Pathan and their father with the caption: "Eid Mubarak to everyone from Pathan family."
Pakistan's white-ball captain Babar Azam, Afghanistan and Gujarat Titans (GT) star Rashid Khan along with his compatriot MI's Mohammad Nabi were among the other members of the cricket fraternity that extended wishes on Eid.
