Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been invited by the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the Ram Temple 'Pran Pratishtha' Ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22. The invitation was given to the MS Dhoni family by Senior RSS functionary Dhananjay Singh at his residence and it was reprtedly, collected with immense positivity by the family.


"We handed over the invitation card to him (Dhoni) on behalf of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22," said Dhananjay Singh in a report by PTI.


MS Dhoni was among the list of 16 individuals from Jharkhand that were invited for the historic and grand occasion. The list was purely based on each of the respective's accolades and distinguishments in their lives. 


"As many as 16 distinguished personalities including senior BJP leader and Padma Bhusan Karia Munda, Padma Shri Mukund Nayak, Padma Shri archer Deepika Kumari, AJSU Party chief Sudesh Mahto have been invited for the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya," he said.


The Jharkhand region will not just be represented by these 16 individuals as reportedly, 69 people from the sage fraternity from Jharkhand received invitations and will be present for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22.
