Virat Kohli in Champions Trophy 2025: Former Indian captain Virat Kohli, a legend in the world of cricket, is on the verge of achieving a remarkable milestone during ICC Champions Trophy 2025. With the conclusion of IND vs AUS Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, Team India will shift its attention to white-ball series against England, starting from 22nd January onwards.

India is set to host England for a five-match T20I series followed by three ODIs. The T20I series will take place from January 22 to February 2. Virat Kohli, who has retired from T20Is, will not feature in the T20I matches but is expected to play in the ODI series against England.

If Kohli participates in all three ODIs against England, his career ODI tally will reach 298 matches. Following the England series, Team India will turn its focus to ICC Champions Trophy, where they will kick off their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20. IND vs BAN match in CT 2025 will be Virat's 299th ODI appearance.

However, all eyes will be on Indian cricket team's high-stakes clash against Pakistan on February 23 in Dubai. IND vs PAK ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match will be especially memorable for Virat Kohli, as it marks his 300th ODI appearance.

With this milestone, Virat Kohli will make history by becoming the first cricketer ever to play 300 ODIs, 100 Tests, and 100 T20 internationals.

Virat Kohli, who made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 2008, quickly rose to prominence as one of cricket's most consistent performers. By 2010, he had debuted in T20Is against Zimbabwe in Harare, where he also served as vice-captain, and in 2011, he made his Test debut against West Indies.

Kohli has been a dominant force in ODIs, scoring 13,906 runs and closing in on the 14,000-run milestone. He could achieve this landmark in the upcoming ODI series against England, joing the elite group of cricketing greats like Sachin Tendulkar and Kumar Sangakkara.
