Ishant Sharma has given some memorable moments throughout his career, be it on the field with the ball, or even on stump mic. However, on Valentine's Day 2024, one of his old clips has gone viral in which the foremr Indian fast bowler is giving an interview, stating the importance of parents in life and advicing the next generation to prefer spending time with parents instead of parents on the day of love, February 14, which is most famously known as the Valentine's Day.

Ishant Sharma's Glorious International Career

Ishant Sharma is one of the most decorated fast bowlers in Indian cricket's history as the Delhi-based cricketer possesses great ability with the ball and has many skills in his arsenal that has tormented opposition's batting lineups over the years. He didn't have a long white ball career but had a legendary career in the longest format of the game as he is amongst the highest wicket takers for India in Test cricket history.

Ishant made his debut in Test cricket against Bangladesh at Mirpur in 2007 but what gained him prominence is his tour Down Under in 2007-08 where his magestic bowling troubled one of the greatest batters to ever step foot on the 22-yard pitch of cricket, Ricky Ponting. Ishant Sharma has never looked back since then as after 105 test matches, the right-arm fast bowler has scalped 311 wickets, with 11 five-wicket hauls.

Ishant's white ball career doesn't have much accolades, but has won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 where he played a highly prominent role by bowling a legendary penultimate over against England in the final. Ishant has played 80 One Day Internationals and has scalped 115 wickets. In T20I's, the Delhi Capitals bowler has played merely 14 bowlers and has taken 8 wickets.
