Brisbane Weather Forecast: The ongoing India vs Australia third Test in Brisbane has been heavily marred by rain. After most of Day 1 was washed out due to incessant showers, Day 3 of the IND vs AUS Test at The Gabba did not see much play either as only 33.1 overs could be possible. Day 3 witnessed as many as nine rain interruptions, but Australia maintained their dominance over the visitors. With Australia aiming to deepen India’s troubles, the weather forecast for Day 4 (December 17) in Brisbane appears far less daunting than that of prior days.

Australia, after being put in to bat first by Indian captain Rohit Sharma, posted a mammoth total of 445 runs. Travis Head continued his purple patch and hit another century, scoring 152 runs. Steve Smith too returned to form and scored a gritty 101-run knock. For India, Jasprit Bumrah was the lone hero as he bagged figures 6-76 in 28 overs. In reply, India’s top-order faltered again as they were reduced to 51-4 in 17 overs by the end of Day 3.

India started Day 4 rather assuredly with KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma looking in good touch but Pat Cummins did not take long before removing the Indian captain. However, KL Rahul continued to impress as he notched his second fifty of this series. As India look to Rahul for a game-changing performance, here’s the weather forecast for the remainder of Day 4 in Brisbane.
