Australia leapfrogged arch rivals England to the top of the ICC World Super ODI League points table following their 2-1 series win over India in the recently concluded 3-match ODI series.

Despite India pulling off a solitary win in the third and final ODI at the Manuka Oval in Canberra, Australia won the series post their back to back wins in the first two ODIs at the Sydney Cricket Ground, who are placed sixth.

Australia Dethrone England As Number One Team In  ICC World Super ODI League 

Finch-led Australia pocketed 40 points from their 2-1 series win over India and took away the Numero Uno Spot from England, who are now placed at the second position with 30 points.

Australia's win over India in the 3-match ODI series on home soil was their second straight series win in the 50-ver format as they beat England 2-1 in their previous bilateral engagement.

India Secure Their First Points In The ICC World Super League After Win In 3rd ODI At Canberra

2019 World Cup semifinalist India got onto the points table by securing their first points in the newly devised ODI League following their win in the 3rd ODI at Canberra. The 'Men In Blue' are currently occupying the sixth spot with nine points.

India came into the series against Australia after being clean swept 0-3 by New Zealand earlier in the year. Their 3-match home series against South Africa got cancelled due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in March.

Reigning World Cup champions England are on the second spot in the Super League Table who 30 points in their bank. England had beaten Ireland 2-1 in the maiden series of the league before being handed a 1-2 defeat by Australia.
