The Indian cricket team won the gold medal after defeating Afghanistan in the final of the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou. Players like Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi, and Arshdeep Singh celebrated their Asian Games Gold Medal victory in a special style. In a viral video, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi, and Arshdeep Singh were spotted dancing on the iconic song 'Lehra Do'. Here is the video:

The Indian team sealed the gold medal in their first Asian Games campaign following the final was washed out due to continuous rain with Afghanistan having batted for 18.2 overs. Keeping in mind the Indian team’s high ranking, they were declared the gold medal winners while  Afghanistan settled for the silver medal.

Afghanistan team were reeling at 112/5 in 18.2 overs when rain played spoilsport and Indian pacers Arshdeep Singh and Shivam Dube took one wicket each. Ravi Bishnoi and Shahbaz Ahmed also scalped wickets.

After being asked to bat first, Afghanistan suffered early blows as Shivam Dube trapped  Zubaid Akbari with his length delivery in the second over. Arshdeep Singh then went on to dismiss Mohammad Shahzad in the next over. The Afghan team lost another wicket when Noor Ali Zadran was run out in the 4th over. Afghanistan were reeking at 13/3 after 4 overs.
