Delhi: Team India's head coach Ravi Shastri is set to part ways with the team after a stint of four years and four months as his contract ends after the T20 World Cup. Along with Ravi Shastri the support staff — Bharat Arun (bowling coach), R Sridhar (fielding coach), and Vikram Rathour (batting coach) — would also bid adieu as their contract comes to an end after the quadrennial event, slated for November this year.

The Indian team has also been victors in scripting history in various international outings as the team was led to the top in the Test rankings. With this, the first question emerges is, who will be the next head coach for the team? To have an outlay, the management made Rahul Dravid the head coach in the recently concluded India Tour of Sri Lanka, in which Men in Blue fared well.

Under Shastri, the team fared well in terms of the win-loss ratio and which has a record being unparalleled with any other team. Shastri transformed the team into a formidable outfit as Kohli's men eluded an ICC Trophy during Shastri's tenure. His tenure has also seen historic victories in Australia and South Africa.
