Pakistan and Australia are squaring off in the 1st ODI of the three-match series at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Stadium in Melbourne on Monday (November 4). While the hosts won the toss and elected to bowl first, at the time of writing this news, the decision has turned out to be a fantastic one for the Men in Green with the visitors looking wickets at regular intervals.
After Adbullah Shafique and Saim Ayub returned to the pavilion early on, there was bit of a partnership between Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan who both added 39 runs for the third wicket. However, Babar could not convert his start into a big score, falling to leg spinner Adam Zampa who got one to spin past him and rattle his stumps.

It all happened on the fourth ball of the 18th over when Adam Zampa got one to skid through. The ball too seemingly kept low and Babar who was looking in goo touch until then could not get his bat down on time, only to see his stumps getting disturbed. The video of Babar's dismissal also surfaced on social media.

Mitchell Starc The Star With The Ball For Australia So Far
As far as Australian bowling performance is concerned, it is Mitchell Starc who has been their star with the ball. Starc produced two early wickets for the Aussies, getting rid of both the Australian openers. As a result of his fantastic bowling with the new ball, he got an extended spell in the first half of the Pakistan innings with skipper Pat Cummins realising the chance to bundle out the opposition well below the 50-over mark. Other than Starc and Zampa, Pat Cummins, Sean Abbott and Marnus Labuschagne have been amongst the wickets for the hosts so far.
