The iconic moment came during the first innings of the match, when Delhi Capitals Women was batting. Georgia Wareham had just bowled out her first over, in which she conceded 13 runs.
In the 11th over, on the third ball of the over of Nadine De Klerk, Shefali Verma launched a lofted shot over the deep mid wicket region and it looked like going over the ropes, but the Australian, Wareham, had other plans, as she leaped high and grabbed the ball with one hand and threw it back in the field, in the process, saving vital runs for her side.
