Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma announced the birth of their second child on Tuesday (February 20). While there was no official confirmation from the couple, South Africa's cricket legend AB de Villiers had earlier confirmed that Anushka is pregnant and the Kohli family would be welcoming their second child. However, the South African perhaps did not realise the kind of impact his statement in response to a fan query on a live session will have.
De Villiers, Kohli's long friend and former Royal Challangers Bangalore (RCB) teammate, had to issue a public apology saying that he denied Kohli's family the privacy that they deserve. "I cry out to everybody to give him the privacy that he deserves. Family comes first. No one knows what exactly is going on. I am asking all of us to respect that. I did bit of a blunder in my previous show and I apologise to the Kohli family for that," he said in another of his YouTube videos before admitting that he has personally apologised to the family.
As it turns out though, De Villiers was not wrong but it only made Kohli's attempt to keep the news confidential pointless. In a social media post, Kohli and Anushka revealed that they have named their baby boy Akaay who came into the world on February 15. As soon as the public announcement of the news was made, reactions started coming in on X and AB de Villiers started Trending in no time.

Virat Kohli Could Be Available For 5th IND vs ENG Test
While Kohli has missed all three of India's test matches against England so far, it is now being reported that the ex-India captain could be back for the fifth and final Test match of the series in Dharamshala which is set to get underway on March 7. Kohli, however, will be missed the fouth Test which is set to kick off in Ranchi on February 23. A Kohli-less India are 2-1 ahead in the series after losing the opener in Hyderabad.
