Centurion ODI: Ex-Indian cricketer congratulates team on win against SA

New Delhi [India], Feb 5 (ANI): Former Indian cricketer Surinder Khanna on Sunday congratulated the Indian Cricket team for winning the second ODI against South Africa in the six-match series and lauded the team's wrist-spinners for their match-winning performance.

"Amazing performance! They outclassed South Africa in their own home, in both the ODIs. Our wrist spinners (Yuzvendra) Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav are bowling very well," Khanna told ANI, adding the team outclassed the Proteas in all departments.

Optimistic of India's victory in the whole series, Khanna further said, "What makes me happy is that the captain (Virat Kohli) is leading from the front, he is making runs and making his team perform better. The way the Indian team is playing, it looks like no team can stand in competition with them."

With the help of wrist-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal's maiden five-wicket haul in the second ODI, India continued the winning streak in the six-match series by beating South Africa on Sunday. (ANI)
