New Delhi: Apart from the ongoing thrilling Test series between India and South Africa, a Test match series between New Zealand and Bangladesh is also being played at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.

After the end of the fourth day's play of New Zealand vs Bangladesh 1st Test, Bangladesh seems to be taking a heavy toll on heavyweights Kiwis. In New Zealand's second innings, they took a lead of just 17 runs against Bangladesh after losing five of its top-order batters.

Meanwhile, a review taken by Bangladesh, which would undoubtedly go down as one of the worst reviews ever taken, is becoming viral on social media.

A sharp yorker 26-year-old Bangladesh fast-bowler Taskin Ahmed, targeted towards the stumps, was easily handled by Taylor who was then batting on 15. But Bangladesh decided to take DRS review as they felt there was a lot more to it.

The third umpire saw in replays that there was absolutely no visible contact between the ball and the pad. Reacting to Bangladesh’s bizarre decision-making, the commentators were heard laughing out loudly.

“This could be the worst review in the history of cricket,” a Twitter user posted with a video of the incident.

Coming back to the match, Bangladesh have performed absolutely brilliantly in the first Test match of the two-match series against New Zealand.

At Stumps on Day 4 of BAN vs NZ 1st Test, New Zealand had a 17 run lead with half of their team back in the pavilion.

After bowling out New Zealand for 328 runs in their first innings, Bangladesh have put the hosts under pressure after scoring 458 runs in their first innings.
