UEFA Champions League: Atletico Madrid vs Manchester City was perhaps the most power-packed, entertaining, and aggressive 0-0 match football fans witnessed in a long time.
Manchester City qualified on the basis of the one goal they had scored at the Etihad in the first leg.
Despite the UCL quarter-final being one of the most competitive match-ups, it will be remembered mostly for the post-match antics that were seen on and off the pitch. Manchester City and Atletico Madrid players got into fistfights, dragging each other to prevent them from time-wasting.
How Did It Begin?
Man City's Phil Foden was cleaned up by defender Filipe near the corner of the field in the 89th minute. With the score being 0-0, Atletico players were getting frustrated due to Foden's time-wasting. All hell broke lose when Oleksandr Zinchenko, a City substitute shooed away Atlético defender, Stefan Savic, trying to lift Foden to his feet. Everybody converged! This resulted in a big scuffle between the players where police had to take matters into their hands to stop the fighting.

Match Summary
Having a 1-0 lead, City dominated proceeding in the first half, but there was no stopping Atletico in the second half with a partisan crowd trying to shout down the City players, it was a difficult game for City to defend.
Atletico attacked with all their might and missed a few delightful chances.
