After Faf du Plessis, British tabloid alleges Virat Kohli of ball tampering
New Delhi: British tabloid Daily Mail has alleged Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli of ball tampering during the first Test match against England at Rajkot which ended in a draw.
The tabloid Daily Mail alleged that Virat was caught altering the condition of the ball. "The 28-year-old rubbed inside of his mouth shortly before rubbing the ball with residue from a sweetener."
Virat has been alleged of making one side of the ball shine.
Although, Virat has not been charged by the International Cricket Council.
On Tuesday, South Africa captain Faf du Plessis was charged by the ICC on ball tampering controversy. The Proteas captain has fined 100 percent of his match fees but he is clear to play day-night Test against Australia in Aldelaide.
