ICC T20I Player Of Decade Rashid Khan Fondly Remembers Late Parents, Shares Emotional Post
ICC T20I Player Of Decade: Star spinner Rashid Khan recently won the International Cricket Council (ICC) Award for the best T20 International cricketer of the decade.
Afghanistan's star cricketer Rashid Khan became very emotional as he took to Twitter to remember his late parents. Past few years have been extremely difficult for the premier leggie, who tragically lost both his father and mother during the last two and a half years. Rashid's mother passed away in June this year after prolonged illness.
It was a big jolt for the premier spinner as his mother died less than two years after his father passed away in December 2018. At that time, Rashid Khan had gone to play in Australia's Big Bash League for the Adelaide Strikers. The next day after the death of his father, Rashid continued to play for his BBL team. It took some time for Rashid to return to the field after dealing with such tragedy.
