The Jharkhand state government also helped Sumati regarding dietary support and training when she was facing hard times due to Covid-induced lockdown. Sumati was one of the seven players from Jharkhand for whom Chief Minister Hemant Soren organized a special camp in Ranchi last year during the Covid pandemic.
