Absconding Murder Accused Sushil Kumar Spotted At Meerut Toll Plaza By Delhi Police
The wrestler has been on the run since 23-year-old Sagar Rana's death and the police are conducting raids in the Delhi-NCR region and neighbouring states to trace him.
Absconding wrestler Sushil Kumar, who is facing allegations of involvement in murder of a former international wrestler Sagar Rana, was seen in Meerut. According to news agency ANI, Delhi Police has received a photo from Uttar Pradesh's Meerut toll plaza in which a man wearing a white T-shirt is said to be of 37-year-old Sushil Kumar. Police is also trying to identify the person sitting next to Kumar in the driving seat.

Wrestler Sagar Rana died, while two of his friends got injured, after they were allegedly assaulted by Sushil Kumar and other wrestlers on May 4 night, at the Chhatrasal Stadium premises in Delhi.
Fearing arrest, the wrestler had moved the Rohini court in Delhi on May 17 seeking anticipatory bail, asserting that the probe against him is biased and that no injuries caused are attributable to him. However, Delhi Court on Tuesday rejected his bail application..
After prilimary investigation, Police stated that the brawl involved Kumar, Ajay, Prince Dalal, Sonu, Sagar, Amit and others. Dalal, a resident of Jhajjar in Haryana, was held in the case.
Delhi Police announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for any information on Kumar. Police has so far questioned many people in connection with the case, including Sushil’s father-in-law Satpal Singh. However, no major information about the absconding wrestler's hideouts have been revealed so far.
