Ratha Saptami will be on 4th February 2025, Tuesday. According to the mythological story, on this day, Surya Dev was born from the womb of Sage Kashyap and Devi Aditi.

Rath Saptami Puja Vidhi 


On Rath Saptami, after bathing during Brahma Muhurta, devotees face the Sun at sunrise, join their hands in a respectful salutation, and offer Arghya to Lord Surya using a small Kalash, pouring water slowly.


After offering Arghya, a lamp with pure ghee should be lit, and Lord Surya should be worshipped with camphor, incense, and red flowers.
