Chennai Sangamam, the annual cultural event held between 2006 and 2011, is to be held after a decade under the name "Namma Ooru Thiruvizha".

As a result, MP Kanimozhi and IAS Sandeep Nanduri inspected Sivan Park, Nageshwara Rao park, Semmozhi poonga, May Day park, Robinson park and Perambur Murasoli Maran park for conducting the Sangamam

Currently, the festival to be held after a decade will be named "Namma Ooru Thiruvizha".
