Security Forces Deployed In Bihar's Nalanda Post Ram Navami Violence, Situation Under Control In Bengal's Howrah
Violence broke out in West Bengal's Howrah and Bihar's Nalanda on Ram Navami as two groups clashed with each other in both states. Vehicles were set on fire and public property was destroyed in that clash. Vehicular movement was stopped.

View In AppHowever, this morning, the situation looked under control in Howrah where violence broke out on Ram Navami. People were seen buying vegetables like any other normal day.
Police officials were seen on the streets of Howrah to maintain peace as vehicular movement including public transport resumed after Friday's clashes.
In Nalanda, Police were seen patrolling the area where the groups clashed. Over 20 people were arrested following this clash.
Security personnel have been deployed across Nalanda in wake of yesterday's clash between two groups.
Here is a visual of a car that was destroyed yesteday during the clash. Ashok Mishra, SP, Nalanda while talking to ANI this morning said, We are maintaining peace, People shouldn't believe rumours. Situation is under control.
Section 144 has been imposed across Nalanda.
