Watling had already announced that the final match of the World Test Championship against India will be his career's last international match and hence he'll retire after NZ's tour of England. Talking about England vs New Zealand 2nd Test, England, while batting first, scored 303 runs. Chasing the target, New Zealand, in their first innings, took the lead by scoring 388 runs.
