ICC Announces Prize Money For Ind vs NZ WTC Final Winner And Runner-Up

This will be the first time that the longest format of the game (Test cricket) will have official World Champions. The ICC said in a statement that the Test mace, which was previously given to the Test team topping the rankings every year, will henceforth be given to the WTC 2021 winners. Australia, who finished third in the points table, will be given a prize money of Rs. 3.38 Crore. The remaining teams that were part of the competition - West Indies, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh each will get Rs. 73 lakh.
