After Jasprit Bumrah, another star pacer of Mumbai Indians (MI) is set to be ruled out of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

View In AppAustralia's Jhye Richardson suffered a hamstring injury on January 4 during the Big Bash League (BBL).
As per ESPNCricinfo, Richardson skipped playing in Marsh Cup or Sheffield Shield but made his comeback with a 50-over fixture for his club Fremantle.
In this match, Richardson picked 3 wickets for 5 runs but could bowl only four overs before returning back to the dressing room and going for scans.
Richardson has been ruled out of IND-AUS ODI series due to this injury and is unlikely to get fit in time for IPL 2023.
Mumbai Indians (MI) had bought Jhye Richardson in IPL 2023 auction for his base price of INR 1.5 crore.
