With this, Arjun registered the unwanted record of bowling the joint-most expensive over of IPL 2023.

23-year-old Arjun, who opened the bowling attack for Mumbai in this match vs Punjab, started off well as he bowled a searing yorker to pick up the first wicket for MI.

The 16th over Punjab Kings' saw Sam Curran and Harpreet Bhatia unleashing beast mode to hammer Arjun for 31 runs (four fours and two sixes) as the youngster ended up with figures of 1/48 in three overs.

Arjun equalled Gujarat Titans pacer Yash Dayal for bowing the most expensive over in IPL 2023 so far.

Arjun’s 31-run over is also the second-worst ever by a MI bowler behind Daniel Sams who was hit for 35 runs in an over against KKR last season.
