CSK's Ruturaj Gaikwad Surpasses Sachin Tendulkar To Attain Big Record In First Match Of IPL 2023

CSK opener Ruturaj Gaikwad made a dream start to his IPL 2023 campaign as he played an epic innings of 92 runs off just 50 balls to help his team post 179-run target against Gujarat TItans.

During his batting masterclass, right-handed Ruturaj hit four boundaries and nine huge sixes.

Ruturaj Gaikwad achieved a huge milestone in CSK vs GT IPL 2023 match as he leapfrogged Sachin Tendulkar in an elite list.

Ruturaj (1299 runs in 37 IPL innings) now holds the record of scoring the most runs in IPL after 37 innings. Sachin Tendulkar previously held this record by scoring 1271 runs after the same number of innings.

Ruturaj, after a dream start to his IPL campaign for CSK, will aim to capitalise on his form to make a comeback to the national team.
