Coaching in the Indian Premier League (IPL) is a desired job which any ex-cricketer would love to have. It demands a commitment of just three months of your life. The coaches get paid well, as well. In IPL 2020, Anil Kumbe had a salary of 4 crore rupees. While Ponting, McCullum and others have been paid 3.4 crore rupees. Simon Katich (RCB): He is the new head coach of the Royal Challengers Bangalore side. He got the job after Gary Kirsten discontinued from the job in 2019. He would love to have the job and coach a team that includes Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers, Glenn Maxwell and others. Will RCB finally win the IPL this time? Only time will tell. (Photo: AFP)

Trevor Bayliss (SRH): Former New South Wales batsman is the head coach of the Sunrisers Hyderabad side. He took over the job from Tom Moody in 2020. VVS Laxman is also part of the mix in SRH as a batting coach. Bayliss was the head coach of England national team from 2015 to 2019. (Photo: AFP)

Anil Kumble (PBKS): The legendary Indian spinner is the head coach of Punjab Kings side. Kumble has a good experience of coaching in IPL. He was with RCB and then with Mumbai to finally settle with Punjkab Kings. (Photo: AFP)

Stephen Fleming (CSK): The ex-New Zealand captain has been Chennai Super Kings' coach since 2009. He played for the franchise in 2008 and then joined CSK as a coach. Michael Hussey and Laxmipathy Balaji are batting and bowling coaches at CSK respectively. (Photo: AFP)

Bendon McCullum (KKR): The man who began the IPL with a bang, the one who scored 158 is now the coach of KKR since 2020. His first season as coach wasn't very fruitful for KKR. With new players in the team this time, he would be excited to go about the business in IPL 2021.

Kumar Sangakara (RR): Rajasthan Royals released their previous head coach Andrew Mcdonald and have roped in Kumar Sangakara as Director of Cricket Operations for RR. They have not mentioned any head coach so far. Sangakara will be assisted by Amol Muzumdar. (Image: AFP)

Mahela Jayawardene (MI): This will be Jayawardene's fifth year as the head coach of Mumbai Indians. He would be happy with the way his team has performed in the last couple of years. Robin Singh and Shane Bond are batting and bwling coaches at MI, respectively. (Image: AFP)

Ricky Ponting (DC): Last, but not the least, the legendary Aussie has changed the way Delhi Capitals approached their game. He was monumental in DC reaching the Final of IPL 2020.
