As per reported by The Associated Press on Wednesday, Messi is set to leave PSG, become a free agent when his contract with French capitals ends on June 30, 2023.
The news comes after Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) suspended Lionel Messi on May 3 after the latter's unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia.
The two-time World Cup winner has signed a commercial contract with Saudi Arabia to promote tourism in the Middle Eastern country.
After the suspension, Messi will miss PSG's upcoming Ligue 1 match against Troyes and home match against Ajaccio on May 13 and could return to league action for his club against Auxerre on May 21.
