Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi Attends Pythian Games Festival 2023

The marquee event marked a historic revival of the ancient Pan-Hellenic tradition after a long hiatus of 1630 years.

The three-day extravaganza served as a platform for over 5000 participants from over 10 nations to showcase their talents and skills, fostering a cultural exchange among participants from around the globe.

The ancient games showcased during the event transcended borders, fostering camaraderie and unity, promoting the exchange of ideas, skills, and cultural diversity among participants from all over the world.

Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi was invited to the Pythian Games Festival 2023.

The prestigious event included the participation of students from the MCD Schools of Delhi, who brought pride to the national capitals with their achievements.

Post successful conclusion of the mega event, Bijender Goel, Founder of Modern Pythian Games, announced plans for the National Pythian Games in 2024 and proposed Athens, Greece, as the host city for 2027.
