Rohit Sharma scripted history during India's World Cup clash against Sri Lanka as he became the first ever batsman in World Cup history to score 5 tons in single edition of the tournament.

Rohit also became the highest scorer in group stages of a single WC. He went past Shakib Al Hasan's tally of 606 runs in eight innings when he reached 63 with India chasing 265 for victory.
