WC 2019: Rohit Sharma becomes first batsman to score 3 tons in ongoing tournament

Australia's opener David Warner (516 runs) is the highest run-scorer in the ongoing tournament so far.

India star opener Rohit Sharma (4 tons) became the second highest century maker for India at the ICC World Cup.

India deputy skipper registered his 3rd century in WC 2019 during India vs England clash at Edgbaston on Sunday.

Rohit took 206 innings to reach the 25 ODI centuries-mark and became the third quickest to reach the feat after Hashim Amla (151 innings) and Virat Kohli (162).

The 32-year-old batsman had earlier registered centuries against South Africa and Pakistan in the ongoing 50-overs mega tournament.

Rohit Sharma (440 runs) is currently positioned at the sixth spot in the list of leading run-scorers in CWC 2019.
