Tahir rushed to hospital before CSK-SRH match, will fly back to Chennai for tests

Chennai would find themselves in deep trouble if Tahir’s illness is serious. The leggie, who appeared in CSK’s last four matches and is one of their frontline spinners.
Their star leggie Imran Tahir was excluded from the playing XI at the last moment.
The injury woes for Chennai Super Kings seem to be in a never-ending loop. It is also maintaining a proportional relation with their performance in IPL 2018. The more they win, the higher the injury list grows.
According to Chennai’s official website, “Tahir felt uneasy when the team was on its way to Hyderabad and was taken to hospital for a check-up.”
So far Mitchell Santner and Kedar Jadhav have been ruled out of the entire tournament and vice-captain Suresh Raina also missed a couple of matches due to injury.
When everything was just appearing to settle down for the two-time champions with the return of captain MS Dhoni and vice-captain Suresh Raina from their injuries, Chennai Super Kings were dealt another heavy blow just before their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
