Right arm fast bowler Mohammad Ali, playing for Zone III, got all 10 wickets against Zone VII in the second innings at Karachi’s UBL sports complex to help his team win by an innings and 195 runs.
In a match played between Zone 3 and Zone 7, Ali led the bowling attack to guide Zone 3 to victory by clinching everything on offer.
Zone 3 took 218 runs lead and it was Ali on the other end who grabbed the headline. The pacer single handedly destroyed Zone 7’s batting line-up on 23 runs.
To clinch 10 wicket haul in an innings in not only difficult on international level but it is also tricky on any level of cricket.
On International level only Anil Kumble and Jim Laker have clinched all 10 wickets in an innings.
