Indian cricket team's young leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has become the first Indian bowler to jointly take the most T20 international wickets. Chahal equaled the record of lethal fast-bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Now both India bowlers have taken a 59 wickets each in the shortest format of the game. While Jasprit Bumrah has taken 59 wickets in 50 matches, it took 44 matches for Chahal to take the same number of wickets in T20 cricket. Chahal's best performance in T20 format is six wickets for 25 runs. In this list, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is third with 52 wickets.
