Sanju Samson In IND vs AFG T20I Series? All You Need To Know

Sanju Samson, who hasn't featured in the T20 side since the Ireland series, is being considered for a return to the squad for the upcoming India vs Afghanistan T20I series.

Sanju Samson, who is supposed to be captain for Kerala's first two Ranji Trophy matches, dropped a hint about a potential return to the white-ball format.

In a video shared by Rajasthan Royals on X (formerly Twitter), Sanju Samson was seen practicing with white-ball while donning an India practice jersey.

In the absence of injured stars Hardik Pandya, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Suryakumar Yadav, Samson might be in line for a T20 squad recall.

Notably, it is expected that Rohit Sharma, who is expected to captain the national team in T20 World Cup 2024, will lead India in IND vs AFG T20I series.

The three-match IND vs AFG T20I series will kickstart from Jan 11 onwards at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh.
