India team coach to be selected on July 10: Ganguly

Former Australia cricketer and current Sunrisers Hyderabad head coach Tom Moody is also an aspirant for Indian cricket’s top job.

Richard Pybus and Dodda Ganesh are other names in the fray to replace legendary spinner who resigned before West Indies tour.

India’s former team Manager Lalchand Rajput has also applied to replace Anil Kumble as the head coach. Rajput has also served as coach for Afghanistan cricket team.

After Kumble’s resignation, Former India team director Ravi Shastri has emerged as a front runner for the top job.

Anil Kumble resigned from the post following a rift with skipper Virat Kohli after India’s disappointing end to Champions Trophy campaign.

Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) member Sourav Ganguly y said that the interview to select the new India coach will be held on July 10 in Mumbai.
