View In AppLegendary Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga, after playing six Asia Cup editions between 2004 and 2018, made it to number one spot in list of highest wicket-takers in Asia Cup history. He claimed 33 wickets in 15 Asia Cup matches.
Number two on this list is another Sri Lankan bowling legend, Muthiah Muralidaran, who picked 30 wickets in 24 Asia Cup matches.
Former Sri Lanka mystery spinner Ajantha Mendis, with 26 wickets in just 8 Asia Cup matches, features third on the list.
Pakistan's former off-spinner Saeed Ajmal picked 25 wickets in 12 Asia Cup games between 2008 and 2014 and is number four on the elite list.
At number five is an active cricketer - Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who so far has scalped 24 wickets in 18 Asia Cup matches.
Special mention: Star India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja (22 wickets in 18 Asia Cup matches) holds the record of claiming most wickets by an Indian in Asia Cup history.
