After 31 ODI innings, Shubman Gill had reached 1590 runs and missed Amla's record of the most runs after 30 and 31 innings, respectively.
Shubman Gill will next be seen in action when India takes Sri Lanka in Asia Cup 2023 Final on Sunday (September 17).
