There have been many speculations whether Dhoni will make his comeback or not with the T20 World Cup, to be held later this year in Australia.

Team India's veteran wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni has been on a sabbatical ever since team India's exit from the 2019 World Cup semi-final.

Captain cool went on to lead team India to the 2011 ODI World Cup win by hitting a huge six off Nuwan Kulasekara on April 2, 2011.

Seven years ago on June 23, Mahendra Singh Dhoni defeated England in  ICC Champions Trophy ODI final to become the first captain in the world to have won all ICC trophies.

On this day, June 23, modern-day cricketing great Dhoni defied all odds to complete his hattrick of ICC titles as he led his national squad to the Champions Trophy title.

It all started in the year 2007 when a young long-haired boy from Ranchi, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, led a fairly young Indian cricket team to beat Pakistan in the inaugural World T20 title in South Africa.
